Within moments of the install I did a discover permissions on the sensitive site, found the group that the user was in, and why he could see things he should not be seeing. Without the DeliverPoint product, it would have taken us an untold amount of time by several people working on several teams to find what group this user was in and why that group had permissions to the sensitive site. With DeliverPoint it took mere moments.
This is why we bought this product, and my leaders, my security team, and I are very impressed.

Steve Hunt, Vice President & CIO of SI International has this to say about DeliverPoint:
I greatly appreciate the “community spirit” and commitment the Barracuda team provides. With genuine help to solve problems without regard to whether it has anything to do with their products or solutions.
Our relationship with Barracuda is a positive one. The Barracuda team takes a pro-active approach with their support. A member of their team called us to see how things were going with DeliverPoint, only to discover that we were facing unrelated challenges and needed good advice. We got the name of a solid technical resource, who promptly and professionally solved our challenges.
We greatly appreciate having Barracuda as a partner. The Barracuda team has always gone the extra mile to help and we sincerely appreciate their technical insight, creative solutions, and genuine "customer care".
easyJet was one of the first airlines to embrace the opportunity of the internet when it sold its first seat online in April 1998. Today, 37 million passengers travel annually with the low cost carrier and approximately 98% of all its seats are sold online making easyJet one of the biggest European airlines and internet retailers. As an early adopter of internet technologies easyJet has always been at the forefront of innovation and so when it came to choosing an integrated document management, content management and workflow system, SharePoint 2007 was a natural choice.
easyJet has an industry leading installation of MOSS 2007, implementing it across a host of line of business applications as well as underpinning the company’s corporate document and content management requirements. But servicing 6000 staff across 7 countries and many different functional areas did prove to be an administrative burden. Andy Caddy, easyJet’s Chief Architect explains "We were quick to use SharePoint and the take up in many business areas exceeded our expectation. Before we knew it we were getting caught up in more administration of the site than development! Specifically we had a lot of headaches around permissions which is how we came across DeliverPoint"
Three months after evaluating DeliverPoint :Permissions, easyJet made an enterprise purchase and is now using DeliverPoint in the day to day administration of SharePoint. Caddy continues "Our solutions involve personal information for each employee stored in thousands of folders that need administering on a daily basis. In order to effectively and efficiently administer content within these folders, we need to be able to ensure the right members of the Flight Operations Management Team have access to these folders while ensuring that other easyJet staff do not. Today, using MOSS out of the box, there is no easy way to do this. DeliverPoint’s Discover Account Permissions operation offers powerful permissions discovery functionality that allows our field staff the ability to accomplish this task and to do so within seconds. In fact DeliverPoint is such an intuitive product we have been able to roll it out to our super users outside of IT, significantly easing the administration and providing a better service to our end users. And if we are not getting caught up with the day to day administration, we can be getting on with providing value added services back to the business"
